The path is here I just need to move on.

A talk is being organized by Reuben Chircop at the Bir Mula Heritage about the current exhibits “Shadows Of the Past” which are being displayed at the bir Mula Heritage itself in Bormla.  The exhibition which is a collection of images in Black and White and which portray the city of Cospicua at night has been inaugurated last March.  Click here for More details here.

Reflecting the past

For another year the Notte Bianca 2009 event will be held in Valletta on the 3rd of October, all through the night till early morning.  The event will give an opportunity to the local artists to portray their works and share their inspirations with the general public.  On this event most cultural and historical places will be open for public including the Casino Maltese originally called “Casa Del Commun Tesoro”, meaning the house of the national treasury.

Once again this year I will be exhibiting some of my photographic work at the Casino Maltese in Republic Street Valletta.  Item 44 on the official Notte Bianca 2009 program is the exhibition “Reflections”, between reality and thought.  An exhibition that brings together common reflections with ones that occur through meditation and thought.

You can visit the exhibition from 18:00 to 02:00.

Another exhibition that is currently on display “La Capitale In Chiaroscuro” will also be open for public at the Trattoria Omerta. Twenty one images, in black and white, all about the capital city of Malta, Valletta.  For further information about this exhibition please click here.

Your visit to the exhibition would be highly appreciated.

For the past four years I have been thinking about publishing a book, which related a story and which offered food for thought. During these years I always produced excuses not to accomplish what I really wanted (probably due to fear of failure).  Thanks to a simple pebble now my dream came to reality and what was imaginary has now become physical.

In this book I expressed my feelings in duo through images and thoughts all created in the same instance on a tranquil sandy beach in Gozo.  Here I found the inspiration needed to push me over to doing rather than just dreaming.

The sea, the breeze, the sand so clean, the serenity around was just incredible.  It was almost impossible not to write something.  Reading and viewing my thoughts I can almost feel the same sensation I felt when I was there, so I hope it will have the same energising effect on you who will go through the passage and the images.

The link below will take you to an online preview of the book and should you like it, you can purchase online and it will be delivered directly to your address.

Please feel free to send me any comments on the following address.

Thank you.

Blue skies, cumulus clouds, inspired by the dominance of the silence that lays beforth me.  Valletta was speaking again or else it was myself who started to listen again.  Hopping from one rock formation to another, beneath the fortifications I realize the grandeur  of this architectural marvel.  It is unbelievable that this fortification has undergone two great wars and they are still standing, and which probably will still stand triumphantly for the years to come.

Once again I decided to dedicate some of my time for my now aged website so here I go again with some new features and a new style. I like to experiment a little and myself not being a coder makes it more intriguing to get a straight line or to simply add a roll over image.

For some it might look ok for others jakk but here it goes. At least I hope that you will appreciate the images after all that is my main objective. I just wanted to keep it simpe, attractive and at the same time easily “updateable”.

I am working on a new project called Malta which with it I hope to give the nicest angles of this island each folder dedicated to a place that inspired me. Don’t much many folders and locations to come.
