Just enough light to illuminate what is important and then waiting till something happens
Shadows of the past is partly an expression and partly an endeavor to do something different. So together with a close friend of mine I visited Cospicua during night-time to capture that special moment where light creates shadows of partially illuminated objects in the street.
I wanted dark shadows, I wanted bright lights, a contrast that seems difficult to attain but not impossible. The challenge was to get the balance between both extremities keeping in mind to maintain dark subjects distinguishable.
